JONEI PRODUCTIONS PARTNERS WITH grammy nominated TRAVISO MILNER AS OFFICIAL MUSICAL DIRECTOR & PRODUCER by renee benot official website

Jonei Productions is pleased to announce the 2022 Partnership and Management with Traviso Milner. Traviso, known to many as Maestro, is a gold and platinum awards recipient for his songwriting and production contributions. In March 2019, his accomplishments as Producer, Songwriter, and Arranger on Mel Holder’s ‘Music Book Volume III’ CD held positions #1 and #2 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Charts. He has toured with Grammy Award winning recording artist Norman Brown and Jonathan Butler. In addition he has toured as Musical Director for Will Downing, Peabo Bryson, Chante Moore, Brenda Russell, Patti Austin, Eric Darius, Paul Taylor, Marion Meadows, Alex Bugnon, Phil Perry, Jessy J Bill Withers, Jeff Lorber, Johnny Kemp, The Force MD's, LaToya Jackson, The Manhattans, Blue Magic, Ray Goodman & Brown, Adeva, Cindy Mizelle, BT Express, Gerald LeVert & Melba Moore, just to name a few. He’s performed and toured throughout Europe and Japan.

In the 1990’s, he had several Grammy nominations for his songwriting and production contributions to Yvonne Roome's "QUIET NIGHTS" album. This jazz project featured Toots Thielemans, Onaje Allan Gumbs, Horace Alexander Young III and a host of N.Y.'s hottest musicians. His single, "ARE YOU REALLY REAL?" (The Force MD's) appeared in Matty Rich's "Straight Out Of Brooklyn" feature film.

He was the Musical Director & arranger for the Isaac Hayes Tribute to Soul since it's inception in 1997. This star-studded gala annual event features world-class entertainers performing Isaac Hayes' songs in a benefit concert for The World Literacy Campaign. The featured artists included Dionne Warwick, Tommy Davidson, Phyllicia Rashad, Mark Curry, Sam Moore, Betty Wright, Denise Williams, Dougie Doug, Jean Carne, Freda Payne, Martha Wash, Miss Jones, Stephanie Mills, Chuck Jackson, Ray Goodman & Brown, Mary Wilson and of course Isaac Hayes, himself. Isaac brought him aboard as MD for his cooking show pilot , "Groove Kitchen" on VH1.

In addition to receiving gold & platinum awards for his songwriting/production contribution to the Busta Rhymes' album "THE COMING", he has written, produced & performed work on Flipmode's Rampage CD.  He wrote & produced the theme song, "KISSING YOU WITH OUR CLASSIC LOVE", for 98.7 KISS FM. His jingle features over thirty of classic soul & today's R&B's finest recording artists (i.e. George Benson, Zhane, Freddie Jackson, Luther Vandross, and Gladys Knight). From January '97 until September of ‘99, his commercial aired at least 24 times a day. With that kind of airplay and roster of recording artists, he is one of the most heard & recorded producer/songwriters in NY.

Due to the success and demand generated by the "Kissing You" jingle, Maestro launched his own jingle house, SOUL'D OUT PROMOS. The company expanded into a service that 'Designs Radio Station's Promo Sound'. SOUL'D OUT PROMOS designed numerous station ID's across the nation. Station by station, across the nation his work is being heard daily. His theme song for The Donnie Simpson Show on 95.5 WPGC ran 5 days a week for 9 years

From 1995 to 2001 Maestro managed, taught and engineered at Soundtrack Recording Studios, an eleven-studio multi-format facility in midtown Manhattan.

Keeping God preeminent in his life is paramount. Therefore, he has been blessed to serve his church and community via a monthly Gospel Showcase, SPIRIT ALIVE, that he directs for the Congregational Church of South Hempstead. The showcase features local talent, big name talent, dancers, instrumentalists, rappers, singers, choirs, steppers, poets and dramatizations. His band, HIZ OWN, which by the way is the same band used for the Isaac Hayes shows provides the music.

In 2006 Maestro toured South Africa with Eddie & Gerald Levert, and then again with Will Downing. Will Downing's Christmas Soul Tour coupled Maestro with Norman Brown and Gerald Albright. One of the major highlights of '06 was getting the call to be Melba Moore's Musical Director.

In 2007 Norman Brown contacted Traviso to Los Angeles to perform keyboards full time. From then until now, Traviso has been a mainstay in the Smooth Jazz LA scene on keys and bass. Once on the west coast, Traviso added Jeff Lorber, Peabo Bryson, Chante Moore, Brenda Russell, Patti Austin, Eric Darius, Paul Taylor, Marion Meadows, Alex Bugnon, Phil Perry, Jessy J, & Gail Jhonson to his artist roster.

In 2011, he returned to the east coast music scene, where the Late Dennis Edwards hired Traviso as his principle keyboardist. 2014 was awesome. Traviso returned to the smooth jazz scene with Jonthan Butler, Alex Bugnon, Norman Brown and Gerald Albright. The summer of 2014 saw the renovation of his main studio facility and the completion of Gerald Alston's new CD, "Irreplaceable" and a new single & video, "Back To Basics" featuring Gerald and Mel Holder.

LEARN FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY DONE WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO by renee benot official website

Today I came across a digital article that forced me to take a pause. The subject matter was  familiar to me, however, when I repeated it to myself, I added “Dah” at the end. After repeating the statement, I couldn’t help but have a gut wrenching good chuckle by myself. These are the moments when you must be reminded to forgive yourself for your past business mistakes and continue on this brave course of entrepreneurship.

In that moment my value was to recognize and make a self evaluation of my own truth, that I am a valuable resource of information to others.  Being comfortable with one’s depth of knowledge and life experience equals wisdom.  My journey of humility has allowed me to sit in rooms with those of great prominence and importance. This reminded me that I’m ok,  because I continue to learn from people who have already done what I want to do. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not shy about my own greatness, but today I was reminded of who I am, my purpose and my sincere thanks to my Creator for guiding me through many land mines.

As Founder of JONEI, I have penned both domestic and international deals for clients. In matters of reference, we have decided to highlight some of our extraordinary circle of influence and clients.  This month we introduce the growth and accomplishments of one of our longest client’s, Scott Camaran.  Scott was scouted several times in malls with his brother and walking with friends. Finally, after much consideration, he was scouted in Manhattan and signed with one of the top Modeling Agencies in the country. The management  journey through digital media, segmented marketing and licensing deals with Scott began. With tenacity and hard work we set in motion a vision to manage various unforeseen circumstances.

Today, Scott has been the principal of international campaigns and commercials for T-Mobile, Apple, Nike, Coca Cola to name just a few. His creative ability has extended  into an array of  multifaceted areas, one being as Creative Director and Senior Fashion Designer at the helm of an emerging luxury streetwear apparel brand in Soho, New York. He professionally appeared in editorials, campaigns, commercials, TV and Film. His career as a model Has led him to pursue photography and art direction as a freelance professional. The editorials he produced, styled, and photographed have been published in international magazines including Schön and Design Scene.  Scott partnered to conceptualize and launch KROST New York, opening their first concept retail space for the brand in Soho, and in May 2019, Scott opened the second concept retail pop-up in SoHo for KROST New York. The brand has received coverage in Good Morning America, Vogue, Forbes, Essence, CFDA, Paper Magazine, V Magazine, E! News, etc. He has designed clothes that have been worn by Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and others.

Scott produced post-production including casting, styling, shooting the campaigns, editing and curating the content. Scott not only designed, but spearheaded the concepts for each season; developing each collection from sketch to garment. He presently works between New York and Los Angeles producing and creating. The small contribution JONEI made to Scott’s outstanding accomplishments is incomparable to what his future achievements will bring.

In my previous blog post I formally introduced myself to you and stated how our team has begun the evolving process of redefining Jonei Productions - post COVID.  I take pride in my  mentor's wisdom because I am one of those that others will look to learn from because I’ve already been there - done that, and will continue to use my Leadership role to assist others. Seek mentors and learn from people who have already done what you are trying or want to do

Today we have redesigned JONEI so that it continues to evolve in 2022. We are so excited for our upcoming rollouts as we rebuild our pipeline, however, we want to first thank each and everyone who has supported us on this journey. Our new deliverables include the creation and production of new content and projects which include insightful monthly content that's beneficial for everyday use, sharing client profiles and presenting their products in a whole new way to support brand awareness. There are so many new things in JONEI 2022. Looking forward to you continuing the journey with us!

Jonei Productions Evolves as a Brand Niche Industry by renee benot official website

Welcome to Jonei Productions 2022 evolving brand. We have re-committed ourselves to thrive in this new environment versus simply surviving. What will these historic shifts bring? Is there a fool proof process in understanding the certainty of an industry? Throughout this new blog series, we will gather different points of views on this subject and explore the new trends that affect the arts, media and entertainment markets. These discussions will include profound leaders who are making changes and setting trends.

First allow me to introduce myself. My name is Renee Benot, Founder and contemporary jazz performer, songwriter, producer, mother, aunt, sister, author, philanthropist, and soon to be GG. Most importantly, I love good music, good food, good friends and family. So much of who we are today is embedded in our roots. Where do I come from? Who is my tribe or people? What is my ethnicity? How did they live a quality life? How can I live a quality life today? Who are the pillars of my community or presence in my life today? Where do I go when life has taken a hold on me? Who do I trust and why? What experiences do I have to reflect in making the choices I do today?

It is safe to say that the past 24 months has forced all of us to question the present events and wonder how to navigate our future. In order to know where we’re going, we have to ask ourselves where do we want to go and try to find the quickest, safest and most meaningful direction on how to get there. I would like you to take this journey with me as I attempt to come to terms with my own interpretation of these matters and I invite you to be an active participant in these discussions.
